The long-awaited semi-finals of the Voice UK are officially underway as of November 7th 2020. Let’s get to know semi-finalist of the singing show Lucy Calcines.
Postponed due to the pandemic, nine semi-finalists are set to go head to head in the penultimate episode of the ITV show.
All kinds of singers have taken part in this year’s show, but Lucy Calcines certainly brings the whole package – the singer already has songs on Spotify!

Latina songstress Lucy Calcines blew both the judges and viewers away with her blind audition. The 21-year-old sang J Balvin and Willy William’s ‘Mi Gente’ featuring Beyonce.
After the two had a chat in Spanish, Lucy opted for will.i.am as her coach.
will.i.am said: “She is a rare specimen. There’s not that many artists like that. They come around every once in a while.“
The knockout round then saw Lucy sing Charlie Puth’s ‘Attention’. will.i.am sand her praises once again and said: “I’m super proud of Lucy, she’s determined, she’s an architect.“
Lucy’s talent is clear to see. As reported by Reggaeton.co.uk, the brunette bombshell was scouted for the show after producers saw her music online.
Where is Lucy from?
It’s no wonder that Lucy has talent when it comes to singing as both of her parents are musicians. Her mother and father hail from Havana, Cuba. Lucy was born in Madrid but she was raised in the Canary Islands, Spain.
The 21-year-old has spent the last few years in the UK as she decided to attend university in England.
At 17, Lucy relocated to complete a course in Music Business & Arts Management at Middlesex University.

Prior to taking part in The Voice, Lucy already had a fanbase and had released songs and music videos.
She released a new song in 2020 named “Official“. This follows her previous releases, “Pa Ti” and “Ain’t Got Time“.
