Justin Sane is an Irish-American singer, musician, and guitarist who is one of the founding members of the punk rock band Anti-Flag with whom he released the album Life, Love, and the Pursuit of Justice and the These Are the Days EP.

It was his sister Lucy who gave Justin his first guitar.
He is an advocate for animal rights and also a vegetarian.
In 1988, Justin and Pat Thetic founded the punk rock band Anti-Flag in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
With Anti-Flag, Justin released his debut studio album titled Die for the Government in 1996. The group was known for their left-wing political views.
Anti-Flag’s 2003 album The Terror State was produced by Tom Morello.
In 2023, Justin was sued under “New York’s Adult Survivors Act” by 13 women for s*xual abuse and rape. Later, a post was shared on his Instagram account stating that he had been falsely accused and also announced that Anti-Flag had disbanded in light of the grave situation.
His fellow band members stated that they “were shocked, confused, saddened, and absolutely heartbroken from the moment we heard these allegations.” They also stated that “in the last 30 years we have never seen Justin be violent or aggressive toward women.”
Over the years, Justin released various tracks and albums including The Bright Lights of America (2008), The People or the Gun (2009), The General Strike (2012), American Spring (2015), American Fall (2017), American Reckoning (2018), 20/20 Vision (2020), and Lies They Tell Our Children (2023).
