France stars Antoine Griezmann and Ousmane Dembele are Football Manager addicts, who have managed Ar

Some footballers unwind on international duty by relaxing with their teammates, hitting the gym or bingeing on telly box sets.

But not France pair Antoine Griezmann and Ousmane Dembele, who instead love to play Football Manager.

And it hasn't had an impact on their game as they combined their managing duties on the video game with winning the World Cup in 2018.

As they prepared for their crunch clashes in Russia, Dembele was focused on his fictitious side Winchester FC.

Putting his club in the eighth-tier of English football, the Barcelona winger outlined his desire to build the Hampshire outfit into top-flight contenders.

Seen playing the game while on flights across Russia, Dembele said: "I will create a club in Winchester, Winchester FC. I will bring us to the Premier League.

"This is my new project, there's going to be a South American atmosphere in the stadium."

Though there were already whispers of financial irregularities at the start of his tenure as Griezmann was quick to point out his compatriot is known for money scandals.

He joked: "He does things, he gives himself money, he had £40million in the third division..."

As for Griezmann, he instead prefers to oversee already well-established clubs, where he once created a star-studded squad at Arsenal in 2019.

He was quick to drop a number of high-profile players, with Alexandre Lacazette the only surviving member of the 2018/19 side to keep his place in the team.

Bruno Fernandes, Frenkie De Jong, Matthijs de Ligt and Joao Felix were included in the starting XI, along with... Bournemouth's Chris Mepham.

England goalkeeper Jordan Pickford was also trusted, with Griezmann hoping to fire past the Everton man in Saturday's World Cup quarter-final.

He then posted an update on his squad shortly after and revealed he took Arsenal to Premier League and Champions League glory in 2021.

Making more changes to his team, United pair Jadon Sancho and Raphael Varane were in his line-up, though sadly for Lacazette, he was shipped off to Huddersfield for £25m.

Fast forward to Euro 2020 and Griezmann had ditched Arsenal for their top four rivals Newcastle, who at that time were still under Mike Ashley's ownership.

And much to the disappointment of Kylian Mbappe, Griezmann had brought the Paris Saint-Germain striker to St James' Park.

Like at his time with the Gunners, Griezmann had brought huge success to the Magpies having won five major honours - before their billionaire backing.

But Mbappe wasn't pleased about his new destination, as he remarked: "Newcastle, where? It’s not very warm there, eh?”

Following their takeover last year, Griezmann was quick to joke that the transfer could happen after taking to social media to photoshop him and Mbappe holding up a Newcastle shirt.

It remains to be see who Griezmann and Dembele are managing in Qatar as France look to defend their trophy.

But should they triumph again and beat Argentina, you can be sure the pair will be choosing a new country to take charge in.
